What Should I Wear?

Ideas for outfits

Don’t be afraid!

Let’s talk about one of the biggest questions I get before a boudoir session: What should I wear? The truth is, there’s no right or wrong answer—only what makes you feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.

Over the years, I’ve had women show up in everything from oversized sweaters to delicate lingerie, silky robes, playful matching sets, and even nothing at all. Whether you're rocking a cozy sundress or fully embracing your birthday suit, this session is all about how you want to feel and be seen.

Start with Comfort

I usually recommend beginning your session with something that feels like you—your go-to comfy piece that makes you feel amazing without even trying. Think:

  • A soft, oversized knit sweater that slips off one shoulder

  • Your partner’s button-up shirt for that effortlessly sultry look

  • A cozy bralette and high-waisted panties combo in a fabric you love (cotton, ribbed, lace—whatever makes you feel your best!)

Starting with something familiar helps you ease into the session and feel totally at ease in front of the camera.

Then, Turn Up the Heat

Next, we move into something a little bolder. This might be the outfit that makes you feel like that girl—the one that gives you a little extra swagger. Ideas include:

  • A lacy bodysuit that hugs in all the right places

  • A strappy lingerie set that’s a little more daring

  • A silk robe that slips off the shoulders just right

  • Stockings with a garter belt for a touch of vintage glam

This is the “power moment” of your session—the outfit that makes you feel like a goddess.

End with Excitement

I love to finish with something that feels a little out of your comfort zone—something that gives you butterflies when you think about it. This could be:

  • Going topless with just jeans or lace panties

  • Draped in a sheet for a romantic, barely-there look

  • Posing nude (yes, really!)—in the most empowering and tasteful way

Don’t worry—I’ll guide you through every pose and make sure you feel supported and beautiful every step of the way.

A Few Final Tips:

  • Avoid anything too tight or restrictive that leaves red marks or indentations on your skin (especially underwires, tight straps, or elastic).

  • Don’t forget the little things—bring accessories like jewelry, heels, thigh-highs, or your favorite perfume to complete your vibe.

  • If you're feeling stuck, I’ve got a carefully curated client closet with options in a range of sizes and styles, and we can even plan a shopping trip together!

Whether you're rocking lace, leather, silk, cotton, or nothing at all—what matters most is that you feel like the most powerful version of yourself.

You’ve got this, queen. 💫

If you need some ideas on where to look for outfits, we can even go shopping together!
